Who gets Botox and fillers? Well…just about everyone!

The market for Botox® and fillers is ever-growing in the United States, and especially in Colorado. It is predicted (by Allergan, the world leader in aesthetic injectables) that by 2020 over 13.4 million Americans will get Botox® treatments each year. The average number of units a Botox® patient gets is about 34 units per treatment, with most needing re-treatment every 3-4 months. Every face is different, but 34 units should treat your frown lines (between the brows) and crow’s feet in an average person. If you have especially strong facial muscles, you will likely need more units.

From 2013 to 2014, the number of Americans using Botox® increased by a whopping 6%!
