Silhouette Instalift is a non-surgical thread-lifting procedure designed to lift the mid- and lower face areas. It is a simple, 20-minute office procedure that involves the injection of tiny threads underneath the skin. These threads lift the skin by way of small cones that are attached to the thread. The cones “grab” the tissue underneath the skin and suspend it. In my experience, these threads are far superior to barbed threads such as NovaThreads because they are much smaller and gentler, and also last longer, approximately 18 months. These threads have been virtually free of complications as well. The ideal patient for Silhouette is someone with mild to moderate skin laxity who would like to have a gentle facelift effect without surgery.
