PDO Threads: An interview with a patient
I recently had a chance to catch up with one of our lucky clients who got the chance spend some time Dr. Janowski when Dr. Rajani  came to our offices on April 8. The main treatment she underwent was the insertion of four Silhouette threads on each side of her forehead just over her brows. The purpose of the treatment was a non-surgical eye-lift. Our client reported feeling old and tired looking and wanted something that would make her eyes look naturally brighter and more youthful.
Q&A with recent a client who recently had  a non-surgical eyelift with Silhouette Threads:
Liz: So it’s been about three weeks now, tell me about the healing process and your overall satisfaction.
Client: You know Dr. Rajani was saying his clients just want more threads, and it was sort of hard to believe, but now I’m a convert.
Liz: What do you mean?
Client: I got the smooth threads that don’t have any barbs [Nu-Mesh Silhouette Threads]. There was ZERO bruising and I literally left Dr. Janowski’s office with an eye-lift. There is no doubt about it. I’m one of those people who tends to bruise a lot. I take fish oil and I’m just a bruiser. But with this treatment, there was no visible bruising. I couldn’t believe it.
Liz: So how would you describe your “downtime”?
Client: I know it might be hard to believe but for me, there was NO downtime*. And the lifted effect has certainly stayed. It is natural look. I just look a little more bright-eyed, I can’t quite explain it. I can go around without makeup and look good. It’s a pretty great feeling. It’s a really good compliment for Botox®/Dysport® and fillers, it sort of gets to an area that I have not accomplished with Botox® or fillers.
Liz: You are one of our clients who likes to do her research…
Client: Yea, it’s true and I’ll be honest that is why I was pretty skeptical about trying Silhouette threads. I read the reviews on RealSelf. After getting a few though, it is pretty obvious the main reason there are those bad reviews out there is because some doctors are not experienced enough or just don’t know what they are doing. Those are also “older” versions of the threads, not the newer threads that you guys are using.
Liz: Would you recommend threads?
Client: Absolutely. These threads should dissolve over time and stimulate collagen growth. I would say though you really need to do your research on the doctor and make sure they have the right training. Dr. Janowski clearly has the right training to do threads right. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Liz: Maybe we’ll check back in with you in a few months and get a progress report?
Client: I’d love that!
