Regular Sunscreen Usage Can Actually Reverse Skin Aging!

We all know (or I hope we do) that sun exposure is the number one way that the skin ages. Simply put, UVA and UVB rays from the sun breakdown collagen, causing our skin to discolor, loose elasticity, and wrinkle.

Daily, regular, and appropriate sunscreen use can prevent skin damage and photo-aging.

However, in recent studie​s*, regular sunscreen usage has been proven to rejuvenate the skin, reducing fine lines and fading pigment.

Scientists involved with this research were stunned to find anti-aging effects just by regular broad-spectrum sunscreen usage. It was expected that skin would “hold it’s own” with regular sunscreen use over one year. However, the findings that skin improved was remarkable. Skin texture improved, fine lines were reduced, and pigmentary issues faded with one year of consistent sunscreen usage.

What’s the message for you?

Sunscreen usage not only can prevent skin damage, aging, and skin cancer – but can actually improve skin quality over time.

Remember, to look for a Broad Spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with a base of either Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide. Be sure to reapply throughout the day – as sunscreen generally only lasts 2-3 hours. And remember to apply to those easy-to-forget places like behind the ears and in the hairline.
