Correcting Ear Lobes with filler
by Lawrence Janowski, MD
Ear lobes are one of the most overlooked areas for fillers (second only to hands). Years of wearing earrings can stretch out the lobe, and increase the size of the earring hole. Many of us become self-conscious about laxity in our earlobes. Even without wearing earrings, the collagen in our lobes diminishes over time and the earlobe begins to stretch. The good news is, for the most part, the ear lobe can easily be plumped and re-shaped with filler.
You may also have a crease in your ear lobe from years of sleeping on it – or from your genetics. This crease can easily be filled and flattened – creating a more beautiful ear shape.
The filler, Radiesse, is an excellent filler for earlobes, instantly plumping, volumizing and firming them. One syringe is all that is needed, and results can last a year or longer. If you are tired of sagging earlobes, this is a great option for you.
